He is survived by: his children, Christy Escue, Terri Bostic, Rodney Carte Jr. and Christopher Escue; his brother Harold Canterbury; and his grandchildren, Joseph Carte, Brittany Smith and Monica Carte. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
