With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hershel Lee Gibson of Clendenin, West Virginia, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Clint Gibson; and his parents, Ernest Gibson and Violet Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Jayne Gibson; his children, Dawn Vardis (Ralph), David Gibson (Kathy), Harold Compton and Kimberly Compton Goff (William); his grandchildren, Jared, Conner, Colton, Zacary, Brandy, Eric, Reese, Josie, Matthew and Mason; and his siblings, Tonya Keen, Eloise Holley, Sandy Moore and Richard Starkey.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hafer Funeral Home (50 N Pinch Rd, Elkview, WV 25071). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
