He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Bledsoe and Wanda Bledsoe; his sister Sandra "Sis" Smith; and his grandparents, Earnest and Della Bird.
He is survived by: his children, Erik Bledsoe, Matt of Norfolk, Virginia, Jasmine Bledsoe Martin and Jarod of Princeton; his sisters, Sherry Bledsoe of Charleston and Vicky Snodgrass of Charleston; his granddaughter Danielle Sams; his close friends, Ron Deel, Sug and Danny Sams; and his grandson Easton.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Koontz Cemetery maintenance fund.
