He was predeceased by: his parents, Worthy Darren Runyon and Bertha Brady Runyon; and his siblings, Maxine Kelly, Geraldine Nicholson, Pauline Carpenter, Bonnie Dotson, Darrell Runyon, Linda Cunningham and Elizabeth Runyon.
He is survived by: his sisters, Bernice Keesucker and Freda Swick; his wife Wanda Lou Frashure Runyon; his children, Connie Runyon of Morgantown, WV, Kenneth Runyon (Barbara) of Normantown, WV, Peggy Runyon of Normantown, WV, Rose Runyon Knight of Grantsville, WV and Nancy Runyon Summers (Richard) of Glenville, WV.; and his grandchildren, Tami Runyon (Jordi Brown) of West Milford, WV, Ashley Runyon Motz (George) of Coolville, Ohio, Graham Knight (Adrianna) of Grantsville, WV and Hayley Summers of Charleston, WV.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
