He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Naylor Cromwell and James M. Shamblin; his wife Deloris White Shamblin; and his sister Lois Shamblin Hamilton (James). He is survived by: his stepfather George Cromwell; his children, Dennis "Denny" Shamblin Jr. (Jama) of Palm City, FL and Denise Shamblin Lupardus (Andy) of Gandeeville, WV; his grandsons, Brandon Shamblin (Kristi), Tyler Shamblin (Maria), Austin Lupardus and Trevor Lupardus; and his great grandchildren, Kinley Lupardus, Taytum, Beau Shamblin and Chris Legg.
