He is survived by: his son Clyde Jr.; his grandchildren, Tommy and Heather Gillespie; and his siblings, Bernard, Samuel, Carolyn, Maxine, Mary, Linda, Brenda and Patricia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
