He is survived by: his wife Rita; his daughter Lisa Shamblin (Terry) of Clendenin; his brother Ralph of Pinch; his grandsons, Corey (Kat) of Elkview and Casey of Clendenin; his great grandchildren, Isabel, Jenna, Gunner and Gracie; and his nephews, Carlton Lynch and Butch Cottrell.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Clendenin United Methodist Church (121 Koontz Ave, Clendenin, WV 25045). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
