He is survived by: his children, Ronald Eugene Deel (Martha) of Clendenin, Richard Wayne Deel of Clendenin and Patricia Ann Monk; and his grandchildren, Bryan Monk, Michael Monk, Ronald Deel Jr., Crystal Godbey and Timothy Paul Deel. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
