He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Bailey and Marie Dunbar Bailey; and his siblings, Cordie K. Harris, Betty Williams and Beulah Kay Bilbrey.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Coleman Bailey; his children, Greg Bailey (Laura) of Shady Spring, Lora Shepperd (Billy) of Pax and Mark Bailey of Shady Spring; his grandchildren, Jill Bailey, MaKayla Bailey, Zoe Bailey, Cheyenne Bailey Jacqulyn Barnetta and Brandon Gross; and his siblings, Teal Bailey (Kitty) of Clear Creek and Georgia Neal of Clear Creek.
