He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dunbar and Ora Stover Dunbar; his sons, Harold Lewis and Bufford Clifford "Cliff" Jr.; his siblings, Donald, Charles, Dwight, Robert, Henry Dunbar and Shirley Bryant; and his great grandchild Ora Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Dunbar; his children, Dwight Dunbar (Ona), Charlie Dunbar (Sherry), Jeff Carpenter (Shelly) and Carlena Dunbar; his siblings, Lewis Dunbar (Donna), Barb Maggard, Connie Graley (Jerry), Farris Stover, Jane Ann Hodge (Lenny) and Nora Owen; his grandchildren, Kayla, Olivia, Alisha, Andrew, Toby, Becca, Megan, Charles, Katie and Allison; and his great grandchildren, Isla, Elin, Vivian, Ella, Jett, Zoey, Paisley, Oaklee, Avery, Little Man, Bubby, Penelope, Roselynn Mae "Roo" and Buford Howard (Boo Boo).
