He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollie Parsons and Goldie Elswick Parsons; his stepson Danny Hill; and his nephew Jason Hundley. He is survived by: his wife Iris Burnette Parsons; his children, Terry Parsons, Anita D'Angelo and Jessie Rhodes; and his siblings, Carl Parsons, Stephen Parsons, Randall Parsons and Judy Hundley (Eddie). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
