With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Troy L. Napier (Clarksburg, West Virginia), born in Moatsville, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2024 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forman T. Napier and Lena B. Shreve Napier; his wife Ellen "Jane" Napier; his son Timothy Troy Napier; and his siblings, Richard, Harold Napier, Ruth Z Sudduth (Ross W Reger), Carrie, Bertha M Wentz (Robert "Bob"), Sue Ann Miller and Brennie E "Cookie" Palmer (Ronald "Ronnie" L Hitt).
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Jane Metzgar (Albert) of Hampton, VA; his nephew Richard Napier (Elaine); his great-nephew Stephen; his nephew Kim Wentz; his siblings-in-law, Mary Jo Hitt (Maple Lake) and Reverend Max "Sonny" Palmer; his caregiver LuAnn Kryshak (Cracker Jack); and his pet Shiloh. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
