Sandra Mossor Obituary

Sandra Sue Mossor, 81, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. She was born in Clarksburg, WV on November 24, 1941 to the late Arnold Andrew Walker and Virginia Maxine (Monk) Walker.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, David Williams Mossor; and brother, Arnold Andrew Walker.

She is survived by her three children: Timothy William Mossor (Maria) of Alabama, Vicki Renee Elam (Jayson) of Clarksburg, WV, and Mickey Shawn Mossor (Bridget) of Florida; ten grandchildren: James Timothy Mossor, Aaron Mossor, Jessica Renee Keough, Kody William Elam, Garrett Jayson Elam, Luke Walker Elam, Daniel Fischer Elam, Brady Mossor, Jackson Mossor, and Molly Mossor, and eight great-grandchildren.

Sandra graduated from Victory High School in 1959, where she was a majorette. She learned to play the piano as a child and could still tickle the ivories if given an opportunity. In her later years, Sandra became an avid bowler, being a member of several teams throughout the years. She was a member of several clubs throughout Harrison County. What brought her the most joy was the time she spent with friends at the Harrison County Senior Center. In her final days all she talked about was how much she wanted to get better so that she could go to the senior center with her friends.

At the request of Mrs. Mossor, no services will be held. Contributions may be made in Sandra's memory to the Harrison County Senior Center, 500 West Main St Clarksburg, WV 26301. The Davis-Weaver Funeral Home is honored to serve the Mossor Family during their time of need.
