It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Kenneth Smith of Clarksburg, West Virginia, born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Verl Wilton and Grace Harshbarger Smith; his brother Verl "Junior" Smith (Linda Kay); his brother-in-law Patrick Weekley; and his nephews, Michael Verl Smith and Matthew Loren Knotts.
He is survived by: his wife Janie M. Weekley Smith; his sons, Douglas K. Smith (Tina) of Clarksburg and Stephen B. Smith (Kelli) of Clarksburg; his grandchildren, Quinten, Emalee and Breckston Smith; his sister Linda Grace Smith of Clarksburg; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Wilson of Salem and Elaine Childers of Clarksburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
