He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd W. Whipkey and Nina Kinsey Whipkey; and his brothers, Boyd Whipkey and Vernon Whipkey. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean McCloy Whipkey; his daughter Amy Michelle Marple (Scott) of Johnstown, WV; his grandchildren, David Marple (Stephanie Louk), Kasey Rawlings (Noah) and Brittany Marple (Michael Cain); his great grandchildren, Zoey, Harlee, Fallon and Ava; and his sisters, Diana Droke (Jim) of Ohio and Judith Swoger of Wheeling.
