He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Lee Heenan Ware and H. Duane Ware of Ware's Grocery Store; his sister Sheridan "Sherry" Ware Todd; and his grandparents, Claude, Lucille Ware, James and Gladys Heenan.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Burke, San Francisco, Yolanda Burke and Shannon Mosco (Jennifer Ware) of Bridgeport, WV; and his siblings, Christy Ware of Modesto, CA and Tim Ware of Clarksburg, WV.. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren with the addition of several Nieces and Nephews.
