It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Patrick Hunt of Clarksburg, West Virginia, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Eugene and Elizabeth Ann Mahoney Hunt; his brother Harold Hunt; and his parents-in-law, Chris and Steve Sturm.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Lynn Sturm; his children, Stephen Wayne Nichols of Morgantown, Michael Patrick Hunt Jr. (Kassandra) of Clarksburg and Cordelia Nicole Thorne (Nathaniel Binegar) of Weston; his brothers, John Hunt (Julie) of Pennsylvania and Edward Hunt (Debra) of Elkhart, Indiana.; and his grandchildren, Kristopher Todd, Hannah Todd, Lillian Todd, Ava Leigh Nichols, Ryker Wilson, Sierra Hunt, Ellie Binegar, Hazel Binegar and Prestyn Binegar. He is also survived by Several aunts, uncles, nieces, one nephew, and a whole host of extended family and friends.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300 Jacksonville, FL 32256.
