It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Jean Hunt of Clarksburg, West Virginia, born in Elkins, West Virginia, who passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Georgianna Short Howell; and her sisters, Shirley Ann Arbogast and Donna Gail Hamrick. She is survived by: her sons, David Lee Asbury (Tamara) of Bruceton Mills, Brandon Jay Hunt (Kelly) of Washington, NC and Nathaniel Gerard Hunt of St. George; her stepdaughter Kyleen Dye of New Mexico; her siblings, Donnie Austin Howell, Jr. (Sandy) of Junior, Debbie Mallow (Bill) of Huttonsville, Rose Howell Phares of Elkins, Lisa Howell of Baltimore and Doreen Summerfield (Danny) of Elkins; and her grandchildren, Lathius, Xzavier, Caleb, Tessa, Christopher, Chayce and Kamden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
