As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joyce may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alpheus Bennett and Gladys Virginia Wamsley Bennett; and her brother Bob Bennett. She is survived by: her husband Donald Norris; her children, Matthew Norris (Wilma Marie) of Anmoore and Brenda Maki (Gary) of Weston; her grandchildren, Abigail Fox, Betthany Hurst, Emily Chapman (Ethan), Mary Rowh (Jon) and Erin Kelly (Joe); and her brother Earl Bennett of Weston. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home (124 Olen Thomas Dr, Clarksburg, WV 26301). A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens (457 Zachs Run Rd, Mt Clare, WV 26408).
