He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Junior" Layfield and Geraldine "Jean" Gerrard Layfield. He is survived by: his brothers, Richard Layfield of Oklahoma, Dennis Layfield of Clarksburg and Garry Layfield (Debra) of Clarksburg; and his nieces, Mary Jackson, Heather Bechler and Amanda Allen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Sardis Cemetery (201 Edison St, Nutter Fort, WV 26301).
