It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Allen Deditch of Clarksburg, West Virginia, born in Logan, West Virginia, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen and Lillian Carol Ratliff Deditch; his grandparents, Ruby and Alex Ratliff; and his cousins, Greg McNeely and Richard McNeely.

He is survived by: his wife Sherri Hughes Deditch; his children, Susan (Bob), William (Melissa), Emily, John, Misty and Sara; his grandchildren, Lydia and Kenzie Stevens; his siblings, Vince Deditch (Julia) and Lisa Deavers (Melvin); and his pets, Little Bit, Candy, Luke and Coco.
