He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorsey C. Kennedy, Jr. and Velma Ice Kennedy; and his former wife Nora Virginia "Ginny" Kennedy. He is survived by: his sons, David Kennedy of Clarksburg, WV, Jeffrey Kennedy of West Union, WV and James E. Kennedy (Ashley) of Clarksburg, WV; his grandchildren, Samantha Williams (Jeremiah), Cody Kennedy, Makayla Kennedy and Kimberly Leary; his wife Doris Bond Spaur; his granddaughters, Abigail Lanzer and Addison Hess; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Bushnell of Ashtabula, OH, Karen Rogers of Jane Lew, WV, Rebecca VanHorn (Darwin) of Centerburg, OH, Richard C. Bond (Susan) of Crossville, TN and Paul Mulligan of Clarksburg, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025.
