He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest D. George and Mary E. Welch (Dillon); his stepfather Thomas J. Welch; his brother Jackson Dillon Sr. (Fay); his nephew Jackson Dillon Jr.; and his nephew-in-law Eugene Horschler.
He is survived by: his son Nicholas R. George (Victoria); his grandson Leland of Clarksburg; his nieces, Brenda Carlton (John) of Brunswick, OH and Susan Horschler of Brunswick, OH; and his great-nephews, Timothy Horschler (Brittani), Bryan Carlton (Heather), Michael Horschler and Richard Carlton.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home (329 E Main St, Clarksburg, WV 26301). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
