He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Odell Leggett and Donna Joann Keys Leggett; his wife Dorothy Louise Davis Leggett; and his sister Debra Trimmer of Clarksburg. He is survived by: his sister Deanna Hoskinson (Terry) of Clarksburg; his children, Daniel Leggett (Laura) of Good Hope, Douglas Leggett of Clarksburg and Dawn Hensil (Eric) of Salem; and his grandchildren, Sami, Daniel, MaKayla, Anthony and Lacy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davis Funeral Home (124 Olen Thomas Dr, Clarksburg, WV 26301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
