He was predeceased by: his father Homer Shaffer. He is survived by: his mother Halice Metheney Shaffer of Chloe, WV.; his daughters, Beverly Wehr (Jim) and Deborah Keen (Mark); and his grandchildren, Callie Wehr (Josh), Josh Wehr (Kelsey), Christina Lora (Jeremy) and Heather Sepalek (Stephen). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
