She was predeceased by: her parents, Cotha S. Mason and Ruth Cox Mason; her son Cecil Humphrey Jr.; and her brothers, Gene Mason, Jimmy and Guy Cox.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Scherer; her children, Sharon L. Weyand of Lake City, Florida, Angela F. Williamson of Hammondsville, Ohio, Lillian White (Eugene) of Girard, Ohio, Michael Scherer Jr. (Bobbie) of Newell, Jamie Bogart (Chuck) of Hammondsville, Ohio, Gretchen Scherer of Wellsville and Emerson-Zahn Scherer of Center Township, Pennsylvania.; and her siblings, Peggy Walker, Debbie Wall, Pam Waltenbaugh, Connie Walker, Gerry Mason, Sandy Mason and David Mason. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
