He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Shroades and Virginia Bennet Shroades; and his former wife Betsy Price Shroades. He is survived by: his wife Arlinda Wright Shroades; his children, Roger Shroades Jr. (Tammy Snider) of Tuscarawas, OH. and Melissa "Missy" Gibson (Joe) of Owenton, KY.; his grandchildren, Shiana Snider, Arielle Shroades, Rachel Thurber (Trenton Cooke), Colleen Copsy and Taylor Thurber; and his great grandchildren, Kai James, Haley Aline Reynolds, Connor Thurber, Oliver Cooke and Felicity Copsy.
