It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Leo Appeldorn of Chester, West Virginia, born in Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Appeldorn and Elizabeth Appeldorn; his former wife Mary Jo Appeldorn; his son David Appeldorn; his daughter-in-law Sandra Appeldorn; his daughters, Barbara Disch and Diane Manypenny; his great grandchildren, Owen Robert, John Glenn and Samual Alan Disher; and his sister Rita Winchell.
He is survived by: his children, Joann Appeldorn, Kathy Disch (Ron Elliott), John Appeldorn (Janet) and Bob Disch (Carla); his grandchildren, Danielle Disher (Glenn), Matt Disch, John Eric Disch (Marie), Joe and Andrea Disch; his great grandchild Anna Disch; and his sister Mary Jane Dardi.
