He was predeceased by : his parents, Loren S. Griffin and Beverly E. Griffin; and his mother-in-law Jean Nichols. He is survived by : his daughter Carrie Griffin; his son-in-law Ray Ward of Calcutta; his siblings, Brian Griffin (Beate) of Union Grove, AL. and Lora Gill (Paul) of Arab, AL; his nieces, Kelsy and Summer Gill; and his caregiver Lucinda Griffin of East Liverpool.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel (607 Carolina Ave, Chester, WV 26034). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
