He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond D. Crowder and Mable E. Geer Crowder; his wife Muriel Hartt Crowder; his daughter Yvonne Spencer; and his siblings, Pricilla Knox and Raymond Crowder Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Stephen Crowder (Chris) and Melanie Smith (Lyle) of East Liverpool. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
