She was predeceased by: her parents, Okey Sayre and Elsie Newland Sayre; her husband George G. Gibson; her siblings, Jim, Okey Jr., Dick Sayre and Mable White; and her stepsisters, Thelma Wright and Bessie Shamp.

She is survived by: her daughter Diane Haines (Rick) of Chester; and her sister Mary Bowen of Chester.
