He was predeceased by: his father Rex A. Murphy; and his grandparents, Robert, Lois Phillips Murphy and Alan "Nip" Irons. He is survived by: his mother Kathleen Irons Thompson of East Liverpool; his wife Ashlee Craig Murphy; his children, Jay Kinzie, Clayton, Zachary and Natalee Murphy; his siblings, Rex A. Murphy Jr. (Mamie) and Roxanne White; his grandmother Veronica A. Fabyanic; his granddaughter Amelia Kinzie; and his niece Jasmine White. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, great nieces, and nephews.
