He was predeceased by: his mother Thelma Gatrell Loughley. He is survived by: his father Robert Loughley of Wellsville; his children, James L. Loughley Jr. of Cleveland and Amy Brown of Charleston, SC.; his siblings, Diana Burns of East Liverpool and Robert W. Loughley of Wellsville; and his granddaughter Allison.
