With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary L. Carson (Chester, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon D. Carson and Mildred K. Peterson Carson; his former wife Mary Lou Beaumont Carson; and his siblings, Edward R. Oliver, Donnie D. Carson, Janet Carson, Judith Bennett, Delores Bondy and Joyce Carson.
He is survived by: his wife Rose McNeill; his children, Bonnie Virden and Gary Carson Jr.; his stepchildren, Charles, Rich (Dee), Jeff and Rosemary Johnson; his siblings, Joseph D. Carson, Kathleen Jennings and Carol Carson Chavez; and his granddaughters, Emma and Hannah Virden. He is also survived by nine step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel (607 Carolina Ave, Chester, WV 26034).
