Though Daniel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Daniel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Merriman and Amanda Baumgarner Merriman; and his son John T. Merriman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Schmidt Merriman; his children, Daniel Floyd (Lori), Mary McCullough, Robert Floyd (Melanie), Andrew Riley (Wendy) and Michael Merriman (Skyla); and his brothers, William, Timothy and John Merriman. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
