He was predeceased by: his parents, Darwon DeLong and Iva Martin DeLong; his son William Scott DeLong; and his brother William "Bud" DeLong. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Raines DeLong; his children, Terri Patterson of Colliers, WV., Bonnie DeLong Ruckman of Mingo Junction, OH., Jane Kleineke of Steubenville and Charles M. DeLong (Mindi) of Georgetown, PA.; his sisters, Frances Rice of Colliers, Betty Howell of Colliers and Janice Smith of Mount Lebanon, PA.; his sister-in-law Doris DeLong of Colliers; and his grandchildren, Kellie Patterson, Hollie Patterson, Alexandra Harless, Jessica Taliani, Corin Kleineke, Cassidy DeLong Ruckman, Luke DeLong Ruckman and Tucker DeLong. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
