He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gilbert and Anna Pearl Searfoss Cox; and his close friend Peggy Kent. He is survived by: his children, Kerry Cox, Christina Burson of East Liverpool, Brandy Rhodes (Jesse) of Negley, Tammy Murphy of East Liverpool and Brandon Murphy; and his stepdaughter Tammy Kent. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
