In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack L. Herrin and Clara Haught Herrin; and her brothers, Ralph Herrin and Jim Herrin. She is survived by: her husband Cecil Parson; her children, Timothy Garner (Abby) of Louisburg, NC and Sarah Goodwin (DJ) of Augusta, GA; her stepdaughter Danielle Windham of Newport, NC; her grandchildren, Bentley James Garner, Mary-Lou Elizabeth Goodwin and Kymmie-Ann Carroll Goodwin; and her brother William Herrin of Enterprise, AL.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel (607 Carolina Ave, Chester, WV 26034). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
