He is survived by: the mother of his children Peggie Mae Greer Edens; his daughter Cynthia Louise Edens (Reginia Edens-Parks); his daughter-in-law Barbara Edens; his siblings, Ellen Burns, Lydia Spencer, Dora Lee Loudermilk and John Edens; his parents-in-law, Reverend Buron and Velma Greer; his brothers-in-law, Tommy Greer, Lewis Burns, Levi Spencer, Johnny Loudermilk, Jerry Miller and Tommy Tyree; his wife Shirley Pope Edens; his children, James Lester Edens (Pamela) of Trout, Jeffrey Edens of Rupert, Jerry Edens (Teresa) of Hines and Tonya Barnette (Steve); his son-in-law Stacy Parks; his grandchildren, Cyndi Taylor (Nathan), Jamie Gervasio (Randy), Tiffany Cooper (Joey), Michael Edens (Jenna), Marcus Edens, Ashley Edens, Eli Barnette (Kayla DeVallance) and Tessa Barnette (Jackson Evans); his great grandchildren, Joseph Taylor, Kyndall Taylor, Tucker Gibson (Kaylea Terry), Jake Gervasio, Logan Edens, Madison Edens, Emma Grace Edens and Jackson Cooper; his sisters, Ruth Miller and Flora Jane Pitsenbarger (Dale); and his siblings-in-law, Drema Tyree, Sharon Howard (Mike) and Jesse Pope (Debbie).
