She was predeceased by: her parents, Reid Pennington and Elise Pennington; her husband David Ballard; and her siblings, Kenneth, Emma Lou and Dreama.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Manning (Paul), Jay Ballard (Eliza) of Charleston and Ken Ballard (Allison) of Charleston; her grandchildren, Michael, Paige Manning, Bobby Jo Zack, Drew, Lauren and Will Ballard; and her great grandchildren, Nicole, Tiffany, Amanda, Matthew and Samuel.
