He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Melton and Hildreth Melton; and his brothers, David L. Conley Sr., Michael A. Melton and Raymond E. Melton.
He is survived by: his children, Cassellen J. "Cassie" Springer and William J. "Joey" Melton; his sister Toni G. Melton; his grandchildren, Aiden T. Springer, Cameron J. Melton, William B. "Blake" Melton, Riley A. Springer, Mila G. Melton, Ava D. Melton, Barrett K. Springer and Gianni V. Melton; and his sister-in-law Penny A. Melton. He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews, as well as a host of friends.
