He was predeceased by: his father William Keith Holmes, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Coe Holmes; his children, Adam S. Holmes of Lynchburg, VA and Erin E. Holmes of Dunbar; his grandsons, William S. Holmes Cooper of Dunbar and Killian P. Ford of Dunbar; and his close friends, Cy Braley and Marissa Abner.
