He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Berkley (Harris); his siblings, Marcus Berkley (Lorraine) and Zelda Berkley of Charlotte, NC; and his children, William Berkley Jr. (Linda) of Charleston, Michael Mott of Detroit, MI, Maurice Berkley of Charleston, Joseph Berkley of Bluefield, WV and Deborah Faucett (Devon) of Sanford, FL.. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
