He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Dayton Rhodes and Dessie Rhodes; and his son-in-law Roger C. Whittington. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rogers Rhodes; and his children, Judith Rhodes Whittington and Terry Rhodes (Robin Steele Rhodes).
