He is survived by: his wife Chris Kessel; his daughter Cindy McIntyre of Charleston; his grandchildren, Grant, Andrew Easter and Timothy McIntyre; his brother Buddy Kessel of Charleston; his siblings-in-law, Ron Price, Jim Young (Edna), Bobby Byers, Kathy Ashcraft and Becky Byers; his nieces and nephews, Ronnie Allen Price (Heather), Brian Price, Matt Ashcraft (Patsy Stoots), Jason Ashcraft (Karli Sigmon), Andrew Kern, Robert Byers and Elisabeth Byers (Rafa); and his close friend Charlotte Totten.
