It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Emilia Young of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Kester Young; her parents, Fred Foltz and Lena Foltz; and her brother Fred Foltz, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Michele Sturey; her grandson Anthony Sturey of Charleston; her nieces, Kathy Pinelli and Karen Numziata (Paul); her nephew Fred Foltz, III; her sister-in-law Shirley McDonald; her cousins, Donna Calzacorto, L. D. Camino, John Allen Camino and Hilda McShane; and her close friends, Arvada Johnson, Sandy Jean, Pam Coleman, Patti Raeshinn, Wilma, Ed Jarrell, Jenny, Jack Adkins, Annette and James Carroll.
