He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Hairston and Sydney Delaney; and his siblings, Ronnie Hairston, Harold Eugene Delaney and Ada Regina Price.

He is survived by: his daughters, LaToya Richards and Sydney Delaney (Scott Strader); his grandson Julian Livingston Jr.; his wife Mildred Honeycutt; and his siblings, Marshall Hairston, Vetrice "Renae" Hairston, Benjamin "Benny" Earl Delaney, Phillip Terry Delaney and Pamela Delaney.
