He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lionel Bird and Ellen Bird; his wife Melanie; his children, Taylor Bochinski (Joseph) of Martinsburg, WV and Dr. Kyle Bird of Greenville, NC.; his siblings, Ian Bird of Denver, CO, James Bird (Linda) of Dallas, TX and Julie Bird of Auburn Hills, MI.; and his caregivers, Aleesa, Pat and Melissa.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the West Virginia Golf Association to continue their support for junior and senior golf programs where Tom and his son Kyle made lifetime memories together.
