With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theodore Arthur Rose of Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on August 26, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Charles and Nellie Marie Rose (Schaefer); his wife Rosemary "Rose" Josephine Rose (Coleman); his grandchildren, Lauren Burkhart (Abel), Christopher Rose, Mike Hurban, Rick Hurban, David Hurban, Alexander Valentine, Hannah Lynam, Ren Rose, Sierra Winland, Ted Rose III and River Winland; his great grandchildren, Hallie Jo Abel, Nino Hurban and Charlotte Hurban; his siblings, Carolyn Weinhold, William "Bill" Rose, Nancy O'Keefe and Louise "Lou" Pryor; his friends, Jack San Felice, Bob and Julie Sakraida; and also, Kathleen "Kathy" Hartshorn, Thomas "Tom" Coleman, Robert "Bob" Coleman, Margaret "Peg" Bowen, Ted and Rose.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a small donation to ACLU WV, or simply reaching out to a friend to say "I love you," as Ted so often did.
