She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Frederick Ashby and Leva Myrtle Westfall Ashby; her husband Charles "Hank" Davis; her siblings, Leroy, Josephine Carter and Gail Turns; and her son-in-law Melvin Hunter Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Dennis W. Davis (Delcy) and Dawn O. Hunter; her grandchildren, Annette Davis, Melvin Hunter Jr. and Mandy Skeens; and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Savannah Hunter, Hunter, Haven and Holden Skeens. She is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
